Who is ACTS?

ACTS is made up of training professionals with 30 years combined experience in the laboratory animal science field. The leaders of ACTS include an ACLAM Diplomate and AALAS Certified Technologists licensed in veterinary technology.

William Singleton, DVM, ACLAM Dipl.

A board certified laboratory animal veterinarian having over 15 years experience working in the laboratory animal field. He has over 7 years experience in the development and implementation of training programs in the pharmaceutical industry and academic institutions. William is an active member of the laboratory animal community and professional organization that promotes the health and well being of research animals. His strong passion and vision for quality training has been part of the driving force behind the creation of ACTS.

Paula Clifford, MLA, RLATG, CVT

Paula Clifford is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and AALAS Certified as a Registered Laboratory Animal Technologist. She has 17 years experience providing veterinary support for a wide range of species. Nine years of this experience has been focused in laboratory animal care. The last 5 years of her laboratory animal care experience has been developing, implementing, and providing training programs in support of animal based biomedical research. She is an active member of many professional organizations that promote education. She strongly believes in the empowerment of the individual through knowledge resulting in the highest quality of care and use for research animals.

Susan Pack, BA, LVT, RLATG

Susan Pack is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and an AALAS Registered Laboratory Animal Technologist. Her experience consists of more than 10 years providing veterinary support, including over 6 years of experience in the field of laboratory animal science. The progression of her career has enabled her to focus on the benefits and rewards of successful training. Throughout her career, she has contributed to the development of various training programs including on-line training programs and educational materials for public outreach initiatives.
