IACUC training for committee members and staff

IACUC members review protocols, and the committee must review the program and inspect facilities at least every six months. ACTS training prepares members for both.

ACTS runs the training at your institution and builds it around your program.

Questions about IACUC training

Who should attend?

New and experienced IACUC members, researchers, and the animal care and compliance staff who support the committee.

Can the training run as a seminar?

Yes. ACTS has run seminar series open to other research organizations in the area.

What if the committee’s problems go past training?

The same team runs program assessments and AAALAC preparation, so a gap that shows up in committee work can be fixed at its source. See AAALAC accreditation preparation.
